Master Bedroom Retreat Makeover

Before Master Bedroom

View of the bedroom from the sliding glass door.

The bed was on the wall to left of the sliding glass door.

Dresser was directly across from the bed.

The before issues the couple had with their bedroom was the need to have a bedroom retreat to relax. The room was cluttered, the bedroom furniture was crowding and cramming area's of the room. The color of the room, curtains and bedspread/sheets clashed with the color of the furniture. The room was lacking a unified color scheme.

After Master bedroom
Shorter dresser now sits on the wall were the bed was placed.

The tall dresser went on the opposite wall of the shorter dresser.

The furniture was rearranged to make the room open and spacious. The furniture was spaced out through the room so not to crowd the space. The walls were painted Sparrow by Behr, new larger baseboards replaced the small baseboards and were painted high gloss pure white by Behr. Two Threshold banded faux silk window curtains in wine from Target were chosen for over the sliding glass doors while the other 2 windows we chose semi sheer Purple curtains from Anna's Linens. We went to Kohl's and picked up the 2 hour glass small storage ottomans in Eggplant for $63 each, 2 Threshold floral toile stitch lamp shade Medium in shell for $19.99 from Target. The Madison Park Jacqueline 7-piece comforter also came from Kohls. The New comforter was the inspiration to start the make over of this bedroom.  We still have a few more accessories to pull the room together but so happy with the results.
